MATTAWA — The Wahluke High School will be receiving a special visit from the Air National Guard on Friday.
“The Air National Guard is coming in with one helicopter,” said Cody Marlow, Wahluke High School principal.
A representative from the Air National Guard will be giving a presentation to the Career and Technology Education students. During the presentation, students from the other schools will be invited to view the helicopter.
Marlow said that staff had originally hoped to bring in the helicopter as part of the high schools Veteran’s Day assembly. Due to scheduling conflicts, that plan didn’t work.
“We still wanted to take advantage of this opportunity,” Marlow said.
