Gård is managed by the husband-wife team of Josh and Lisa Lawrence. The wines are crafted by winemaker Aryn Morell in Walla Walla.
Gård wines come from the family's estate, Lawrence Vineyards, on the Royal Slope. The family has farmed the Columbia Valley for more than 45 year and began planting its vineyard in 2003.
Gård has wine tasting rooms in Ellensburg and Woodinville, and Gård wine can also be ordered online at www.gardvintners.com. In addition, Gård can also be found at a variety of local retail and restaurant locations.
Gård Vintners uncorked its first wines in 2006, and now produces about 4,000 cases a year. Gård wine has won numerous awards, including 90-plus scores from Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast magazines, Double Gold from the prestigious San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, and "Top 100 Wines in the Northwest" from Seattle Metropolitan Magazine.
