Wahluke Schools Levy Join me in voting yes

Print Article

I am an enthusiastic supporter of the Wahluke School Districtís maintenance and operations levy! As a member of this community I see the positive outcomes from our communityís generous support in the education of our children.

This district is staffed with outstanding people who make a difference for children every day, but we must continue to give them the support they need to make that difference.

Our communityís levy provides important funding to bridge the funding gap from the state of Washington. Many programs and materials are directly tied to our local levy.

This funding supports a number of quality programs. It also supports our buildings, classrooms, and school buses. These are all critical to educating the whole child and to achieving the districtís mission.

When you receive your ballot, I hope you will join me in voting yes for Wahluke Schools!

Linda Achondom, Mattawa
