Royal baseball splits with College Place

Chanet Stevenson/The Sun Tribune - The Knights Kaden Jenks brings the heat against the Hawks Saturday.

The Knights and Hawks split a twin bill on the diamond in Royal City Saturday. The home team took the opener 4-2. Logan Gilbert had the big stick for Royal; a 2-out bases loaded clutch hit in the bottom of the fourth to salt away the win.

It was all College Place in the nightcap as the Hawks won going away, 11-3.
